SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
- Installation Location - within passenger compartment, similar to E-ZPass toll module.
- Communications - built-in GSM cellular modem utilizing the GSM network to transfer the data collected.
- Mileage Recording - built-in GPS (and antenna) records mileage driven.
- Driving Zone - built-in GPS records entering and exiting of insurer-defined, geographic driving zones.
- BackOffice Servers - used for data handling, analysis and storage.
- Website, Driver - a driver-dedicated website* is available for personal data viewing. Website is adjusted in accordance with insurer's needs.
- Website, Insurer - an insurer-dedicated website can be provided for viewing additional data not available to drivers.
